Recently, there have been many new makeup releases making their way online and onto shelves everywhere. A lot of these new releases are from makeup brands collaborating with Youtube stars to make unique and personalized products for their subscribers.
Jeffree Star Cosmetics is one of the most popular makeup brands in the world, all of which were created by Youtuber Jeffree Star. He recently released a collaboration with Manny Mua, a Youtuber and best friend of Star, which will launch April 8 at 10 A.M. PST. Together they made a new peachy Skin Frost Highlighter, “Eclipse”, costing $29. With the highlighter comes two new shades of Velour Liquid Lipstick, a dark nude called “Daddy” and deep strawberry called “I’m Shook”, both $18. For a cheaper option, a bundle can be bought with all three new products for $50. All of these products are available at Jeffree Star’s website, Jeffreestarcosmetics.com.
Another Youtuber, Nicole Guerriero, has collaborated with Anastasia Beverly Hills Cosmetics and Beauty. Guerriero crafted a pink toned highlighter palette, with six pans of unique shimmering color for $40. It appeared online for sale on March 3 and in store on March 15, and sold out on both platforms almost immediately. The palette claims to be “easy to blend with intense payoff that won’t leave shimmer particles behind”.
Benefit Cosmetics has just recently come out with a new groundbreaking product, called “Cheak Parade”. This palette combines five of Benefit’s best selling face products, “Hoola” and “Hoola-lite” bronzer, “Galifornia” and “Dandelion” blush, and “Rockateur” highlighter. This product has a $145 value, but is currently $58 online and in stores. With this product one can contour, sculpt, highlight, and define.
When it comes to smaller releases, BeautyBlender has come out with a 15 year anniversary sponge. The sponge is a bubbly light pink, and costs $20. The makeup brand Tarte has also released a new athleisure line, introducing numerous new products that are perfect for working out.
