Pajama Game: not a snoozer

By Madeline Abel

On Friday March 3 and Saturday March 4, York Suburban High School held the annual musical. This year’s musical was Pajama Game, based on the novel 7½ Cents by Richard Bissell. The show ran from 7-9 on Friday, and 2:30-4:30 as well as 7-9 on Saturday.

The lead roles, Babe Williams and Sid Sorokin, were played by senior Jacob Isiminger and Junior Waverly Speranza. Isiminger said, “I thought we had a really strong cast this year, and it was a great end to my senior year.”

After the play on Saturday, a surprise visitor stopped by. Former York Suburban student Craig Sheffer, also known as Keith Scott on the television show One Tree Hill, joined the many audience members to enjoy the show.

The many people that went to see the play on Friday and Saturday said it was one of the best they have seen from the York Suburban students. Sophomore Hannah Lawton added on Friday how proud of her classmates she was, and that she is looking forward to all the upcoming talent in next year’s performance.
