Have you ever wondered about the odd things hidden within the school? The strange phenomenons that seem to make this place tick? Well, you have the questions and we have the answers! Have you ever heard of a “Mystery Locker”? Mystery Lockers are hidden doorways to the ventilation system within the school, masked by a numberless locker. Their disguises are so obvious that students rarely go looking for them; but really, there could be a mystery locker right next to your locker, but you’ve never thought to look!
Moreover, ladies, have you ever wondered why those little white trash cans for disposing of feminine products are not in every stall in the bathrooms? Are you sick of guessing and checking which stall you can go in when when the need arrises? We all know the very first stall and the handicapped stalls are alway a safe bet to have a can, but which bathrooms have the lowest stall to trash can ratio? We took to the stalls to find out.
At YSHS, female students have access to 30 stalls during school hours, but only 15 stalls have trash cans. Most of the bathrooms have two trash cans, one on either end of the bathroom. That leaves a stall to trash can ratio of 2:1 within our school, ladies.
Some bathrooms, like the ones in the history and math wing, have a whopping six, I repeat six stalls, but still only two, yes you heard right, TWO trash cans. So stick with the safe bets–the first stall or the handicapped stall, because otherwise you risk a 50/50 chance of not having a trash can. Stay Woke YSHS.
