Colorguard shows off hard-earned success

In the explosive end of their second season, the indoor colorguard took third place in the Keystone Indoor Drill Association championships on April 6 at the Farm Show Complex.

Competing against nine other units, the girls brought home a third place plaque, bronze medals, and the possibility of moving up to the next possible division next year for their hard efforts.

If the guard were to move to the blue division next season, they would be able to say that their talent has brought them through four divisions in less than three years, which is phenomenal for such a young group.

Such a jump would also raise the possibility of their performance in the world circuit for indoor colorguard competition. In such a situation, the girls would not only face other units from Pennsylvania and surrounding states, but from all over the country.

So if you see the girls, wish them congratulations on such a great season and good luck for the years to come. They deserve it!
