Staff Engages in Professional Development

On March 10, students enjoyed a day off from school and teachers participated in a day of professional development. Throughout the district, staff met as grade levels or in departments to focus on new learning strategies and programs for students.

At Valley View Elementary, kindergarten teachers learned and practiced a new writing strategy to help prepare for teaching full day kindergarten next year.

Later in March, administrators and teachers convened to analyze the results of the professional development survey to plan for future inservice days.
