Elementary Students Tackle the 24 Game Challenge

Eight fourth and fifth grade students from Indian Rock and East York competed in the 24 Game Challenge at The Lincoln Intermediate Unit in New Oxford on May 4, 2017.  All eight York Suburban students earned medals by placing in the top twenty-four out of the forty-eight students who participated.

East York students Benny Chen and Anthony Khuc, placed second and third, respectively. They earned gold medals and will compete in the state competition in Harrisburg on June 14. East York students Cayli Huynh and Kirra Hyder and Indian Rock students Jake Foremsky and Lillian Baker were among the top 16 participants who qualified for the semi-finals and they received silver medals. Indian Rock students Ty Pridgen and Landon Mendoza placed in the top 24 and received bronze medals.
