YS Post Prom: A 16 Year Tradition!
One of the long-standing traditions established by York Suburban parents and community members is the York Suburban Post Prom event. Since 2001, Post Prom has given York Suburban students a safe and supervised place to go after Prom. The event is open to YS Prom attendees, and all Junior and Senior students regardless of whether they attend the Prom. The party theme this year was “Trojan County Fair” and, accordingly, there were loads of fun interactive carnival games, tournaments, entertainment, food, and prizes.
On behalf of the Post Prom Planning Committee—Colleen Igo (Co-Chair), Gina Kouma (Co-Chair), Joanie Nolin, Lisa Hocker, Stephanie Bowman, Kris Wasilewski, Andrea Good, Kris Marino, Leslie Platts, Casi Babinchak, and Nikki Hunt—thank you to the dozens of people who volunteered and/or made a donation in support of the 2016 Post Prom. Without their investment of time and financial resources, this event would not have been possible!
