Musicians from the York Symphony Orchestra performed their interpretation of Miss Nelson is Missing at Yorkshire Elementary School and Valley View Elementary School. This performance is an extension of Stage the Page, administered through the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center. The program is designed to inspire kids to want to read and to expose them to live musical performances. Each classroom teacher received a donation of the picture book, Miss Nelson is Missing, to read to their students. In the spring, students in kindergarten through second grade will enjoy the stage performance of the play in the beautiful Strand-Capitol Theater.
