The students of Valley View Elementary were dancing for dollars on October 28! Each year, the PTO coordinates a Dance-A-Thon where students are sponsored for 30 minutes of dancing during the school day. All of the profits are utilized by the Valley View PTO to help make Valley View a great place to learn! The PTO pays for school assemblies, field trips, student rewards, teacher projects, family fun nights, and some classroom technology. This year’s Dance-A-Thon raised over $12,000 for the PTO! Thank you to a supportive school community!
Yorkie Bear lead the Congo Line during the Dance-A-Thon at Yorkshire Elementary. Students, staff, and parents/guests enjoyed the fun that was organized by the PTO. Funds raised through the Dance-A-Thon are used to bring special programming to the students and to provide transportation to field trips.
