Clifford the Big Red Dog visited Yorkshire Elementary recently with his friends from the Martin Library. They read books, learned about GOAL (Grade One At the Library), a program run by the York County Libraries helping every 1st grade student acquire a library card. Special incentives are offered to students on the first few visits to the library. Yorkshire friends learned about the many fun things public libraries have to offer.
