The YSHS student body selected eight young women to be members of the 2016 Homecoming Court and the Class of 2017 selected their Homecoming Queen, Olivia Hocker.
Olivia Hocker is the daughter of Steve and Lisa Hocker. Olivia has spent 10 years as a competitive cheerleader, has been a member of the York Suburban cheerleading squad all four years, and this year is serving as one of the captains. Olivia is a Link Crew program commissioner and has been recognized for multiple awards at the annual Robert L. Dovey Academic Awards. Olivia has not yet identified her college of attendance, but she plans to study education and one day be an elementary teacher.
