YSMS Aladdin Workshop and Audition Dates
Thursday, October 6th from 3-4pm- Aladdin Workshop in Chorus Room
Students will have a chance to learn the audition music and choreography with the directors. At the workshop students will practice the music with the directors, learn the choreography, receive mandatory audition paperwork, and sign up for a 10 minute audition time slot for a Wednesday OR a Thursday audition.
THE WORKSHOP IS NOT MANDATORY to audition, but if students cannot attend the workshop due to a prior engagement, they must see Mrs. McAuliffe in the Art room to sign up for a time and get the audition paperwork. The choreography and music clips will be on Schoology so that students can learn or practice at home.
Students may ride the activity bus home, walk home, or arrange other transportation home.
Wednesday, October 12 from 3-4:30pm (OR) Thursday, October 13 from 3:00-4:30pm ALADDIN AUDITIONS in auditorium
If the student signed up for a Thursday audition, they should not come to the Wednesday audition and vice versa. Students should have previously signed up for a 10 minute time slot and may leave after their audition is done unless they need to wait for the activity bus.
Students auditioning MUST bring their audition paperwork to hand in to the directors. They will be judged on singing, spoken diction, stage presence, voice projection, and dancing ability. Students are encouraged to do their best in all categories and have fun!
