York County Alliance for Learning (YCAL) offers Career Exploration Programs in twenty-five career areas for high school students in grades ten, eleven, and twelve. Students can participate in one or more programs.
Some of the programs are one- or two-day events where a student misses a day of school while other programs meet once a month in the evening throughout the school year. - Human Services
- Medical Assistant
- Information Technology
- Respiratory Care
- Creative Careers
This is a wonderful opportunity for high school students to gain knowledge about career options and learn to network with career professionals. Students can participate in one or more YCAL Career Exploration Program (there’s no limit). The programs are designed for tenth, eleventh, and twelfth graders. Families must provide transportation.
