Yorkshire PTO volunteers greet new families at the Kindergarten Orientation and Back-To-School Nights that were held prior to the start of school. All new students are given a Yorkshire t-shirt as part of the welcome. The goal of the orientation is to help students feel comfortable for their first day of school. Every child has the opportunity to meet his/her teacher and parents learn about the curriculum and classroom routines and procedures. Students and parents are set up for a successful start to the year!
