A Halloween Treat for Youngsters at YSHS

A shark collects a treat at one of the stops along the indoor York Suburban High School Trick or Treat Night.

Zachary Weinstein, president of the Community Service Club, hands a treat to a youngster dressed as a shark at one of the stops along the indoor York Suburban High School Trick or Treat Night.

There were ghosts, Captains America, Transformers, sharks, Minnie Mouse, and scores of other characters roaming the halls of York Suburban High School on the evening of Thursday, October 29.

For the third year, the York Suburban High School National Honor Society coordinated a pre-Halloween Trick or Treat Night for youngsters ages pre-school through grade 2.

Sports teams, cheerleaders, Quiz Bowl members, Art Honor Society, and other organizations, societies, and teams decorated doorways in the first floor science and English wings of the high school.  The children and their parents made their way along the hallways as the children collected treats in a safe and secure environment.
