York Suburban Middle School Library hosted its annual Scholastic Book Fair and Music Café from November 3 through November 7. Students were 
scheduled to visit the book fair that week with their Language Arts classes.
The Book Fair and Music Café was held on Tuesday evening, November 4, coinciding with Parent Teacher Conferences. All students and their families were welcomed to stop by that evening and enjoy donated desserts, hot and cold drinks, and to peruse the many books and other items at the fair.
Kathy Pavoncello and Donna Joy Krane coordinated the event with Donna reporting, “The book fair was a great success. Our café night had a record number of families come and enjoy the donated baked goods, drinks and books.”
She said, “The library was able to raise enough money, in addition to profits from our previous fairs, to be able to have an author visit next school year. We also were able to acquire books for our library. Most importantly, students had the opportunity to purchase books that interested them.”
