Saturday, March 23,  marked the 5th bi-annual Battle of the Buildings (BOB) event.  For the first time in its history, the students of York Suburban High School claimed the BOB trophy.  The Super Seniors and Jammin’ Juniors teams tied to win first place.

Teachers and staff from each building and senior high students competed against each other in various events ranging from the classic tug-of-war to the clothing relay to the balloon soccer finale.

The evening proved to be a fun competition to bring together students, parents, and staff from across the district while benefiting the York Suburban Dollars for Scholars fund.  The Dollars for Scholars Board expresses its appreciation to the event’s co-coordinators, Mr. Jamie Evans and Mr. Eric Hoffman; all those who volunteered time and energy participating on a team or behind the scenes, and all the students and families who attended.  The 2013 BOB proceeds totaled over $3,000.
