David Coombs, better known as “Buddha”, asked his Facebook friends to consider making a donation to the York Suburban Education Foundation in celebration of his most recent birthday in February. Buddha’s friends and family exceeded his goal of $200 and raised $270 which will go directly to programs that enhance the educational experience for YS students. After having graduated from YSHS in 1982 and retiring last year after dedicating 35 years to the district, Buddha continues to support YS in so many ways. Thank you to David “Buddha” Coombs for inviting your friends and family to support YSEF in celebration of your birthday!
