In the spirit of family involvement, the Yorkshire Elementary PTO recently sponsored a Family “Sock Hop” Dance. Families were asked to provide a goodwill offering of a pair of socks to benefit Bell Socialization. Mrs. Schnetzka’s second grade class utilized their addition and multiplication skills to count the generous donations. Over 1,040 pairs of socks were collected to help keep feet warm and toasty this winter. What a great way to have family fun and support our local community at the same time!
