MiniThon was a fundraiser that raised money for families in need whose child suffers from cancer. MiniThon takes the money made from MiniThon and helps multiple families in any ways that they can.

The overnight event had some new exciting things going on this year. Senior Zoe Hornberger  one of the directors for the MiniThon said, “There are lots of new things coming this year, like the hypnotist, Mr. Kurowski’s science special, crepe making, escape rooms, and birdbox hour.” Zoi also said, “The goal is to raise $90k.”

A big part of the success for MiniThon came from the number of students that attended. It is crucial to how much money they would receive towards their goal. Student Council co- advisor Oliver Good, said that it was most important to him because “It raises money for families for the most hard time in their life”.  MiniThon was set for February 22nd through the 23rd.
MiniThon was a success !!! About 470 students attended MiniThon. Stephen Whiteley, one of the other co- advisors for MiniThon said, “we raised $91,020.19”  which was over a thousand dollars over their goal.

On donor drive alone Mr. Whitely said, “we raised about $65,000. According to Mr. Whiteley the most successful event there was ‘the hypnotist’.
