On May 18, 2017, the student authors of Indian Rock Elementary were able to showcase their fabulous published writing pieces with one another, teachers, and parents. Students each chose one writing piece to orally share with an attentive audience. After a short break for snack, third, fourth, and fifth graders rotated around the classroom and read a second shared writing piece during the “gallery walk” portion of the Writers’ Conference. It was a fun, successful event that celebrated some of the young authors who are a part of York Suburban!
