Each third grader in Mrs. Mahorney’s class was given the assignment of researching an inventor and his/her invention. Then, they wrote a multi-paragraph informative writing on their inventor’s life and his/her invention. Each student created several Google slides to go along with the memorization of the speech they gave on March 2. Their audience was composed of parents, family members, State Representative Kristin Phillips-Hill, Dr. Merkle, Dr. Maloney, and Dr. Gulley. Succeeding at this difficult task gave the students a great sense of accomplishment. Each student landed among the stars that day!
