York Suburban Swimming

Boys: The York Suburban Boys Swimming team can now call themselves Division II and District 3 Champions! The team’s hard work and dedication has paid off in many ways this season. The boys were able to win the district gold medal without one individual or relay earning first place. This truly speaks to the depth of the team and really brings to life the term “team victory”. The boys finished with a score of 231 followed by Cocalico at 219 and Bishop McDevitt at 213.5. Best of luck to our boys that are competing at the state level!

Girls: Coming off of a Division II League Championships, the girls continued to impress at Districts finishing in the third place overall. The girls, much like the boys, finished in third in large respect to a total team effort. With many individuals and relays contributing points the girls finished in a very respectable third place. The girls will also be sending six individuals to compete at states and we wish them the best of luck.

On Thursday, March 16, the swimming team  earned medals in two events at the PIAA (AA) State Championships. The boys took seventh place in the Medley Relay and Aiden Fryar took seventh in the 50 Freestyle.

York Suburban Girls Basketball

Congratulations to our Girls Basketball team for qualifying for the PIAA State Tournament! The girls have navigated through a very challenging division and district, but persevered to qualify for states. They have been battle tested throughout the season and it shows as they were able to win a very close game over Wyomissing in the District Tournament. The girls have played very tough against some of the best teams in the state and ended their season against Montoursville High School in the state competition.

It was a fantastic winter for the York Suburban Cheerleading Competition Team, a highly  motivated group that persevered to overcome some obstacles  thrown their way throughout the course of the season.

The team, through hard work and dedication, placed fourth at YAIAA Competition in December. The girls continued on to compete and make us YSProud at Districts in January. Congratulations on a great season!
