On Tuesday evening, February 7, York Suburban Middle School students and faculty took part in our annual Faculty vs. Eighth Grade Students Basketball Game, in conjunction with our staff-baked Cookie War. The game was a nail-biter up to the very last seconds as students pulled ahead and won the game by 2 points! Dr. Kristi Smith won the coveted Cookie Bake-off trophy this year for her frosted party-cake cookie. In addition to the yummy cookies, snacks were available for purchase during half-time. YSMS raised $748.62 from this event. These proceeds will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of York County and will be added to our proceeds from the Bowl For Kids’ Sake event to be held on March 3 and 4.
