The York Suburban School District is engaging in a study of the feasibility of expanding the opportunities for students to attend full day kindergarten. The district will host an information session on October 25, 2016 at 7:00 PM at Valley View Elementary. Interested parents and community members are invited to participate in this program.
District officials will share an overview of the research on full day kindergarten, an overview of the current program in comparison to a full day program, and the cost-benefits to both. Participants will be invited to ask questions and have their concerns addressed.
