The York Suburban Education Foundation (YSEF) is delighted to welcome six new members to the Board of Directors:

Ashutosh Ingole is a data systems architect who will contribute his much-needed skills to our database management. He has two children in the district who attend Valley View and Indian Rock Elementary Schools.

Jeff Kuhn is an alumnus of YSSD, class of 1966. He then worked for the district as a science teacher and Science Department Chairman, retiring in 2011. We are delighted to welcome a retired faculty member on the board.

Angela Lauer graduated from YS in 1997, has two children (one at Valley View and another who will be there in a few years), and works for York County Community Foundation. She is eager to help YSEF build its endowments, and we welcome her expertise.

Kay Matthews spent her entire career at YSSD, beginning with her student teaching and ending with her retirement after 28 years. Her two children both graduated from the district as well. She has chaired or co-chaired the silent auction for YSEF’s Celebration of Excellence for the past two years.  We are happy to have her as a full board member.

Dan Mazzolla graduated from YS in 1965 and moved back to the area two years ago after 35 years away.  He has been a member of the YSEF Alumni Committee since its inception. He brings with him a wealth of experience in management consulting.

Lori Walton is a nurse anesthetist who married a YS alumnus and has two children attending Valley View. We are eager to tap into her organizational skills and make use of her outgoing personality.
