Bright Horizons Highlights Experiential Learning

Preschoolers and Kindergarten Prep children are active and enthusiastic learners.  At Bright Horizons our World at their Fingertips curriculum allows the children to fill their day with investigation, experimentation, and discovery. Through intellectual teaching practices, purposefully designed environments, and enriched activities, teachers ensure preschoolers have joyful, appropriate, and meaningful learning experiences that lead to success in school and life.  World at Their Fingertips is made up of  seven world elements that are integrated into each of the developmental curriculum’s environments and into the sensibility of the center.  The seven elements include Language Works, Math Counts, Science Rocks, Art Smart, Our World, Well Aware, and Projections.  Pictured below is an example of a Kindergarten Prep child exploring stamping with her fingers, and investigating her prints afterwards.  She was able to determine that her prints all have very similar lines, but that they all look different.
This activity integrated our elements of Art Smart and Science Rocks!
